Tieks have a nice leather look with a trademark color on the bottom and the look professional. the problem with tieks is that they are not durable. the inner sewing part can fall apart pretty quickly. they are feasibly comfortable in the winter time but in the summer they can become incredibly hot. while you may love the flexibility of them and the color of them, you may be disappointed by the breathability of them, and you may also be disappointed that they do not last long and after about 5 to 6 hours you feet might start to hurt in them. 

Rothys are soft shoes and very flexible. you may also like the fact that they have a pretty thick sole on them which you can take out and insert and not only wash that insert but you can wash the entire shoe. they also come in lots of colors and patterns. the back part of the shoes are pretty comfortable too and wont rub the back part of your foot. in the summer they hold up amazingly and your feet are less likely to hurt after 5 to 6 hours and in the summer time they are incredibly breathable. they also last longer than tieks. the only thing about rothys is if you buy the pointed toes then you need to go up about a half size and the other style of shoes should fit true to size.
